This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Alright people who visit here, there will probably not be any new updates for awhile. I'm mid way through a roll of film and I don't have my camera with me to use it up. I'll let you know when to expect things.
Here is a tutorial for a different style of background 7th. I knew you were asking, so here ya' go.
Part 1: Initial setup
1. New psd file
2. Choose a fun color of yours.
3. Make a square the size of the background
4. Rasterize that
Part 2: Add the fixens
1. Change the background color to a mix color of choice.
2. Filter:Render:Clouds
3. Filter:Stylize:Extrude
settings:
blocks
30
30 random
Part 3: Give it a rush
1. Filter:Stylize:Wind
settings:
blast
from right or left
Voila!!! Now you got a sweet looking background to play with. If you use higher contrasting colors, like white and black, or neon green and black, for your clouds, you'll have more pillars of blur and larger deep spaces, if you use similar colors, you won't get the same effect. ENjoi and play around with this one. I'll try and make up a new one for you.
